Healing Hearts Serenity Sanctuary, Inc. uses SMS text messaging to communicate with individuals who have requested information, scheduled appointments, enrolled in programs, or otherwise expressly consented to receive text messages from our organization.

This SMS Messaging Policy explains the types of messages we may send, how consent is obtained, and how you can manage your messaging preferences.

Types of SMS Messages

Depending on your relationship with Healing Hearts and the consent you have provided, you may receive the following types of messages:

• Appointment confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and rescheduling notices.
• Follow-up messages concerning requested consultations or services.
• Veteran and caregiver wellness program communications.
• Care coordination and resource-navigation updates.

Consent to receive marketing messages is separate from consent to receive appointment reminders or other service-related communications.

Providing a telephone number alone does not automatically enroll you in promotional text messaging.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and wireless service plan.

Healing Hearts is not responsible for charges imposed by your mobile carrier.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may withdraw your consent and stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying:

Reply STOP to any SMS message from Healing Hearts to unsubscribe from that messaging program.

Reply HELP for assistance, or contact admin@healingheartsserenitysanctuary.com.

After you opt out, you may receive a final confirmation message. No additional messages will be sent through the opted-out program unless you subsequently provide new consent or a message is otherwise permitted by law.

If you are enrolled in more than one messaging program, you may need to manage your preferences for each program separately.

SMS Privacy and Information Sharing

We respect your privacy and take reasonable measures to safeguard your mobile number and messaging preferences.

Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and consent records will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Sensitive Information and SMS Security

When sensitive information is necessary for care coordination or other services, our team may direct you to an appropriate secure communication method.

Service Availability

SMS delivery depends on your mobile carrier, device, network availability, and other factors outside our control.

We cannot guarantee that messages will be delivered without interruption or delay.

Our SMS service is not monitored or intended for emergencies. For an immediate emergency, call 911. For a mental-health, suicide, or substance-use crisis in the United States, call or text 988.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this SMS Messaging Policy to reflect changes in our communication services, technology, or applicable legal requirements.
